About the Kingwood Chapter

Celebrating over thirty years of mothers and daughters working together in our community, the Kingwood chapter of National Charity League, Inc. is the oldest in the area. With a focus on philanthropy, the Kingwood Chapter currently provides service for 15 organizations in our and contributes over 7,000 volunteer hours each year.

In addition to our daily service, our Chapter comes together several times a year, as a whole, to focus on our local philanthropies at our Philanthropy Workshops and our winter community fundraising event. These days not only provide us with an opportunity to support the community but also an opportunity to bond as a chapter.

Other annual chapter-wide events are our New Member Tea and Senior Recognition. The Tea, held each spring, gives the chapter an opportunity to welcome our newest Provisional Members, and the 8th grade Ticktocker class offers a Modelette presentation. Then, in April of each year, the Senior Recognition marks the culmination of six years of growth, dedication to philanthropic work, and the forging of a mother-daughter bond that will stand the test of time. At this formal event, the Chapter and their guests celebrate the graduating senior Ticktocker class and all of their laudable achievements.
