Our Chapter History

The National Charity League, Inc., Kingwood Chapter was “born” in 1984 thanks to the organizing efforts of Carolyn Wandstrat and Erna Rodgers. These women, along with 23 others, were granted their charter in 1986. They then began the journey developing strong female leaders committed to serving and impacting our community. This tradition of service has been fostered in three generations, with several ticktockers being the granddaughters of past members.

The Kingwood Chapter has grown and evolved immeasurably throughout the past three decades, but our commitment to philanthropic work has always remained at the core of all we do.
